As a group of performers attempt to give a lecture on the lesser-known genocide of the Herero people, the play jumps back and forth between two distinct worlds: process/rehearsal and presentation. With its progression, presentation clashes with process. The collision is revealed in increasingly vivid and harrowing detail, becoming difficult to know where they are, where they began, and how far they’ve come.
